Eli Schrock, the owner of Schrock’s Woodworking, grew up in Holmes County, OH the oldest son in a family of 10. He comes from a long line of craftsmen, and worked with his father in a variety of occupations, including general carpentry, masonry, and blacksmithing. Apprenticing under his father taught him the value of hard work, but shoeing horses helped him to see his real desire was to work with wood.

In 1979, Eli and his wife Elva relocated to Guernsey County, OH where he was able to pursue the dream of making custom cabinetry. He built his shop in 1983 with the help of friends and began building cabinets with basic machinery. He added equipment as he was able in order to better meet the needs of his customers.

Today, 30 years later, he enjoys working alongside 3 of his grown sons. The legacy of hard work and beautiful cabinetry has made Schrock’s Woodworking a trusted name in the woodworking industry, both here in Guernsey County and far beyond.
