PROCESS

We think you deserve the best possible experience, high quality cabinets, and an honest estimate with no hidden fees. Part of a good experience is knowing what to expect, so we outlined our process below from design to completed kitchen.

Step 1 – Initial Meeting & Estimate

We begin a project by having a team member visit your home or building site. They’ll measure your space, listen to your ideas, and likely draw a kitchen during this visit.

Once back at the office, we go over the design to make sure nothing was missed. Once we’ve prepared your drawings and estimate, we’ll give you a call to schedule an appointment in our office. During that meeting, a team member will review the quote and drawings with you. We’ll also help you tweak the design if needed and help you choose colors, countertops, hardware, etc., and discuss a possible installation date.

Feel free to bring along your inspiration photos and components of your project: a piece of your flooring, paint chips, tile sample, etc. It’s important to be able to compare finishes and colors. You’ll be able to ask questions, see our cabinets first hand, and generally get to know the type of product you’re purchasing.

Step 2 – Confirm & Begin

If any adjustments need to be made to the estimate after your office visit, we’ll do so and provide you with an updated estimate and drawings via email.

Once you’re ready to proceed, we ask for a 50% down payment and a signed copy of the estimate to put your project on the schedule.

Approximately 12 weeks before installation, we’ll schedule a time to do the final measure.

At that time, all walls where cabinetry will be fastened need to be permanently set with the drywall in place and we’ll need a copy of all your appliance specifications and model numbers.

After the final measure, all items on the quote will be considered finalized. (Any changes initiated by you after that date will likely result in an increase in cost, just so you know. Let’s get it ironed out before then!)

Step 3 – Delivery & Installation

Kitchen installations typically take 2-3 days. We ask for 50% of the remaining balance to be paid when we begin installing cabinets.

Several days after the cabinet installation begins, we’ll have the countertop company come and make a template for the countertops. Then 2-3 weeks after the countertop template, the countertops will be installed. The final balance is due once the countertops are in place.

Your satisfaction is our goal. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns at any point during this process. We hope you enjoy your new cabinets for many years to come!
